If the gap you filled was wider than a quarter, then consider these options.

Determine:

1. Is the gap all the way up the wall or the window?
2. Is the gap only a certain length?

Direction 1. If the gap is up the wall or window, then remove the existing 1x trim around the window and reinstall closer to window or replace with a wider 1x Trim.    What is a 1x Trim?

1x Trim is a piece of lumber approx 3/4 in depth by ( X ) being the width.  Example 1x4 or 1x6 or 1x8 These pieces of lumber can be cut to any length or width with a table saw.

Direction 2.  If the gap is only a certain length then follow direction 1 above. If further attention is necessary, email me a picture of the  spot or describe in detail what is the trouble, and include the type of finish on the outside of the house Example brick, aluminum siding, vinyl siding, etc.
